Engine Mount placed under the Engine is critical for their function in bearing the engine load and minimizing the engine vibrations due to severe road conditions and vehicle maneuvers. RGR Engine and Transmission Mounts are designed to isolate noise from power train vibrations under various operating conditions. RGR mounts support and ensure comfort through torque of the engine and transmission unit. RGR deals in a large variety of Engine & Hydraulic Engine Mounts, including Switchable Engine Mounts, Solid Engine Mounts and Pneumatical Switchable Hydro Mounts.
The suspension system of a vehicle primarily comprises of the load bearing element called Strut which attaches the suspension strut to the vehicle and insulates the vehicle from noise and vibrations. RGR rubber to Metal Strut Mounts are reversed engineered to strictly match the OEM design and specifications, at the same time, ensuring optimum ride comfort to the passengers. The goal is to reduce and absorb the transmission of noise and residual wheel vibrations to the vehicle body.
Proven competence and experience are required in the design, analysis, and manufacture of suspension strut bearings. Bearings play a very important role in the functioning of a complete suspension strut assembly. Shock absorbers are prone to dust and muddy water. To protect it from the same, a dust cover is positioned to extend around the shock absorber in a way that it covers the shock absorber. RGR Dust covers are made of both Rubber and Plastic and are designed strictly as per OEM design to ensure 100% effectiveness and functionality when installed on your vehicle.
The primary function of Jounce bumpers is to limit suspension movement and protect the shocks and strut valves from suspension over travel and absorb maximum jounce loads. RGR offers both MCU and NR (Natural Rubber) Jounce bumpers to meet or exceed OE design, stiffness, and performance.
Suspension Rubber Bushes also referred to as Bushing is a vibration isolator made of rubber, polyurethane or other materials which serves as an interface between two parts while absorbing some of the energy produced by their interaction thus minimizing and limiting the transmission of noise and small vibrations to the vehicle. At RGR, Bushing is tailormade as per varied customer and product requirement and monitored batchwise under the strict supervision of qualified Rubber Technologists to ensure quality conforming to OE or OE equivalent standards.
The upper spring seat is part of the top mount assembly for the strut assembly, and the lower spring seat is typically attached by welding to the shock absorber of the strut assembly. Spring seats of the strut assembly are multifunctional for the entire suspension system. RGR Spring seats and Isolators are made from high tensile steel, aluminum, glass filled nylon, and the right combination of such metals with NR (Natural Rubber) and MCU (micro cellular urethane) to meet OE design, stiffness, performance, and reliability.
